Within the
developing world dynamics, ideas and concepts have entered a rapid progress
period. In recent years, adoption of an understanding of re-structuring and
correction of inadequate services in provision of services have increased the
importance of the concept of quality. Besides these, the expectations in
service fields and the change of the concept of quality have revealed the
importance of the quality fact in
providing service to customers beyond their expectations, in improving this
service continuously and in supporting the ever developing technology for
establishments which desire to carry themselves over to the future. In Turkey,
which moves on with precise and rapid steps in being one of the largest markets
of the globe, health issues are being placed more importance and are being more
systematically approached.
In this line, the importance of the diagnosis and treatment devices that
directly relates to human health is increasing. Services such as appropriate
choice of the said devices and correct planning and scheduling of the
repair-maintenance, testing and calibration of these devices are gaining
significance.
Scheduled planning of the testing, calibration and maintenance of the
diagnosis and treatment devices in medicine makes it possible to take the
necessary measures beforehand by pre-determining the breakdowns that may occur
in such devices in the future, which is all very important considering the
sensitivity of the human health issue. This way, the utility life of the device
will expand, eliminating extra costs that may arise. The most important of all
is that the quality of the service given in such an important field as human
health.
Currently, the devices used for both diagnosis and treatment in
hospitals, clinics and other health institutions are state-of-the-art devices
and the choice, proper usage, management and the most important of all
MAINTENANCE AND CALIBRATION of these devices have become an issue that should
no more be neglected.
Concepts that are on the agenda in Turkey and that we frequently
confront, such as quality, standardization, documenting, reliability of testing
and measurement are unavoidable facts with respect to adapt to world standards.
Starting with this theme, as
MEDKAL - KİM Ltd. Co., established in 1995, with its investments of
over 300,000 Euros up to date, we are performing maintenance-repair and
electrical safety tests of all devices in health institutions at international
standards, and testing and calibration of the biomedical devices in hospitals,
particularly surgery rooms and intensive care units, with our educated and
trained personnel expert in their fields, using devices of firms that are the
leaders in maintenance-repair, testing
and calibration of medical devices.
As well as performing the maintenance-repair, testing and calibration of
these high technology hospital devices that are extremely sensitive in our
laboratory, we can also provide these services at the location of the devices,
thanks to our mobile laboratory. Thus, damages, breakdowns and calibration
shifts that may arise during transportation of the devices in the hospitals.
The chain of traceability of all testing and calibration devices used in
our laboratory extends to NIST (America), DKD (Germany) and/or UME (Turkey).
Our testing and calibration services, performed in compliance with the
ISO9001 and ISO/IEC17025 standards, are documented by certificates having
international traceability and validity.
Our Biomedical Test & Calibration Laboratory is the first and only
laboratory accredited by TÜRKAK (National Accreditation Institution) in Turkey
in “Biomedical Test Services” in compliance with the ISO/IEC17025 standard.
